FRACTIONAL PRODUCT MARKETING + EXECUTIVE ADVISORY

You don't need another pair of hands. You need someone to build the damn thing.

I take on a small number of fractional product marketing, executive advisory, and team-building engagements for startups, scale-ups, and teams going through the kind of growth where "we'll figure it out as we go" has officially stopped working for you.

I build product marketing functions, teams, communities, positioning, go-to-market systems, and the operating structure behind them. Sometimes that means starting from nothing. Sometimes it means walking into something that technically exists but absolutely should not be working the way it is.

Both are fun AF for me.

THE GOOD STUFF

Projects I actually want to do.

My common thread is pretty simple: something important needs to be built, rebuilt, or made dramatically better.

Build Product Marketing From Zero

Your company has Product. You have Sales. Marketing is doing its best. Everyone has a slightly different explanation of what you actually sell.

I can build the PMM function from the ground up: charter, roles, operating model, GTM framework, positioning, launch structure, tiering frameworks, voice of the customer programs, repeatable processes, sales partnership, metrics, and the actual headcount you need to run it.

Build or Rebuild the Team

Org design, hiring profiles, job descriptions, role clarity, onboarding, performance expectations, operating rhythms, career development, OKRs, OP1/OP2, and getting the right people doing the right work.

I care a lot about building high-performing teams. Not teams that are permanently exhausted, drowning in requests, and calling it "the hustle." I can transform your vision into reality sans burnout.

Startup GTM Architecture

You have something people should want. Now we need to figure out who wants it, why they care, how you explain it, how you launch it, and what Sales needs to actually sell it.

ICP, segmentation, positioning, messaging, launches, competitive strategy, enablement, adoption, and a GTM model your company can keep using long after I'm gone.

Community Building

I spent years building communities before anyone decided "community-led growth" needed its own acronym. (and I have the receipts...)

I help companies create communities people actually want to belong to, including customer communities, ambassador programs, advocacy programs, advisory groups, creator ecosystems, and the strategy connecting community to the rest of the business so you have a voice of the customer program that's sustainable & productive.

Positioning Under Duress

If your homepage could describe six of your competitors, we have some work to do!

I dig into customers, competitors, product truth, sales reality, and market context to find the story you can actually own, then turn it into messaging people across the company. Missing someone who can get XFN teams aligned? Nah. You're missing me. I have a natural ability to get all of leadership on the same exact page.

Interim Product Marketing Leadership

Sometimes you need senior leadership before you're ready to make the permanent hire.

I can step in, establish direction, stabilize the function, coach the team, build the systems, make the hard calls no one else likes to make, and help you determine what the long-term leadership role actually needs to be.

MY SWEET SPOT

I like projects messy enough to be interesting.

I'm especially interested in companies where something meaningful is happening and the infrastructure hasn't quite caught up yet. Are you mission-driven? Non-profit? I'm listening.

This is probably my kind of project.

  • You're building your first real Product Marketing function.
  • Your company is moving from founder-led GTM to something scalable.
  • You need to hire and structure a new marketing or PMM team.
  • Your products have outgrown your current positioning.
  • Your launches feel different every single time.
  • Sales, Product, and Marketing all have different versions of the story.
  • You want community to become a real business capability.
  • You've grown quickly and now need the operating system to match.
  • You've enabled Sales and still can't figure out why there's churn.
  • You want senior thinking without hiring a full-time executive yet.

Probably not my thing.

  • You need someone to crank out random collateral requests.
  • You already know exactly what you want and just need execution hours.
  • You're looking for the cheapest fractional marketer available.
  • You want strategy but don't intend to change anything.
  • You need twenty hours of meetings for every five hours of actual work.

No judgment. We just aren't a good fit if those ring true for you. And...okay, maybe a little judgment on that last one.

RECEIPTS

I've done this at scale. Multiple times. Multiple companies.

My background spans B2B SaaS, FinTech and payments, accessibility, community, and global consumer technology, including leadership work at Meta, AudioEye, and Ministry Brands. I have worked with Founders to CMOs, CEOs, and Boards. I've gone from legacy companies to startups, to working at the largest tech company on the planet.

$37.1M ARR supported by a revenue enablement program built for 200+ employee startup
200+ GTM motions at Meta with 48% average feature adoption lift Worked with everyone from Billy Porter's team to the first Meta Big Game ad. (P.S. They haven't had one since.)
30–50% YoY audience growth across five global regional community programs
2.9B+ Users impacted through accessibility and global platform work (that I did in my spare time)
HOW I WORK

I am not coming in to make you dependent on me.

The goal is to leave behind something stronger than what I walked into: a clearer strategy, better systems, high-performing, happy people, and a team that knows how to keep going without me.

Figure out what's actually happening.

Customers, employees, data, workflows, product reality, sales reality, market reality. Reality reality. I want to understand the actual problem before we start prescribing solutions. And I will.

Build the right thing.

Strategy is useful only when people can execute it. I turn the strategy into frameworks, systems, roles, messages, processes, decisions, and actual work.

Make it sustainable.

I document it, teach it, coach the team through it, pressure-test it, and make sure the capability lives inside your company for good.

THE MONEY PART

I'm not inexpensive.

That's probably worth saying before we both get emotionally attached.

You're hiring senior leadership, not renting extra marketing hands. My engagements are usually structured around a defined project, fractional leadership period, or ongoing strategic advisory relationship. We agree on the scope. We sign a contract. I get paid. You get the team, system, strategy, or capability you should've had in the first place.

For the right early-stage company, I'm also open to a mix of cash and equity.

Meaningful equity.

"Meaningful" is doing some important work in that sentence.

ENGAGEMENTS

There are a few ways we can do this.

Build Project

30–90 DAYS

A defined thing needs to exist when we're done. PMM function, positioning system, community strategy, GTM model, team design, launch framework, or another substantial build.

Fractional Leadership

ONGOING

Senior ownership for a period of transformation, growth, leadership transition, or while you build toward a permanent executive hire.

Executive Advisory

LIGHTER TOUCH

For founders and marketing leaders who already have people doing the work but want a senior PMM brain in the room for the decisions that matter.

SO, WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING?

If it's ambitious, a little messy, and actually matters, I'm interested.

Tell me what's happening, what's not working, what you're trying to build, and why now.
